CHARON SINGLETON
Born and bred in historic Charleston, SC, I’m a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over half a decade of experience. Long before I began my career, I fell in love with numbers, math and solving complex problems as I journeyed through the days of grade school. In 9th grade while taking Accounting Fundamentals, I developed an affinity for accounting — as well as all the debits, credits, recording and analysis that come with.
It was at that moment that I knew I had found my passion.
And, I went on to pursue it at Syracuse University where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting (#GoOrange) as well as Master’s of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina (#GoCocks). Upon completion of my studies, I enjoyed a career with Big Four accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). I served and led as an External Auditor and Senior Accountant for businesses — gaining an immense volume of practical knowledge, wisdom, experience and expertise.
But, contrary to popular belief, accounting is more than just numbers and as your virtual CPA, my goal is to organize your data and maintain up to date records. More importantly, I seek to help you analyze and understand what your numbers communicate about the health of your business or organization. On top of that, I’m here to guide you in navigating the complex tax laws in order to identify and implement legal tax savings strategies.
